I don't know why I was so worried. I stressed myself into a pretzel this week, because my weight fluctuated up and down all week.
At the end of it all, I lost 3 3/4 pounds!!
Okay okay, my appointment with Rachel this morning was at 8:30 am since I'm taking Yoni to an appointment later. Therefore I was weighed before breakfast, as opposed to after breakfast. So I don't expect such a big weight loss next week. My home scale only showed a 3 pound difference from last Wednesday. Rarely do you lose MORE at the diet place than at home!
Mentally I'm going to consider this a 3 pound loss, so that I don't get disappointed next week when I'll be weighed after breakfast. But lmaaseh, bottom line is that I'm down 8 pounds already, B"H. And you can see it on me and I can feel it. It's amazing and exciting.
Rachel did hear out my concerns about the pressure the "10 pounds in four weeks" goal was creating and she readjusted it, setting a goal for a pound a week instead of 2 1/2 a week. This way I'll rejoice if I lose more than a pound a week, which I know I probably will.
